Gary Owen has been delighting audiences for more than 35 years and has earned international recognition as one of the most talented ventriloquists in America. Born and raised in Hollywood, California, Gary’s interest in ventriloquism developed during early childhood, when he was influenced by the popular talents of Paul Winchell, Señor Wences and Jimmy Nelson, of “Nestlé’s Quick” fame. During his career he’s been featured on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and in Time magazine, and has shared the stage with name celebrities and bands. He’s performed on the high seas aboard NCL, Celebrity and Holland America Cruise Lines and has appeared in Branson, Missouri. Gary has entertained for numerous corporate and international organizations including; Delta Faucet, Goodyear, Golf USA, Hitachi, International Finals Rodeo, American Cancer Society, National Association of Legal Secretaries, American Grocers Association, Ben Franklin Variety Stores, and high-ranking generals of The United States Air Force. Gary has nearly 40 years in broadcasting which has earned him the distinction as an award-winning voice talent. From The Lawrence Welk Reunion shows on PBS to hosting his own syndicated radio show, from TV and radio commercials to emcee/live announcer for conferences and conventions around the nation. In recent years, Gary has added stage hypnosis to his repertoire of comedic talents performing for high schools and corporate events.
